These aspects included the active participation in an acquisition team which completed corporate studies regarding the research and planning of the tax treatment related to the acquisition, reorganization, disposal and liquidation of various corporate subsidiaries and divisions. Completed in-depth research and planned alternative tax consequences of various special projects responding to the needs and plans of corporate management. Completed Federal and State tax compliance necessary for filing separate and consolidated income tax returns including filing of Protests and arguing company position before the Appellate Division of the Internal Revenue Service.
